Coldwater Showcase: Settlers continue win streak.

Smiths Falls Settlers start day 2 of the showcase undefeated from day 1. Day 2 started at 10:30 am with a match-up against the Seaforth Generals. Both teams came ready to play, with a tough back and forth game in the first period with the score at the end of the first still tied at 0. Fans were in for much of the same in the second period, however the Settlers were able to final put one in the back of the net at 06:24 of the second period by Shonwahnokon Thompson. However, the Generals answered back with a goal of their own in the second, scoring at 02:40 by Mark Miller. The game remained tied at 1 for the remainder of the second period. In the third period, Reilly Degray put the Settlers ahead by one scoring at 09:40 mark of the period. This would be enough to give the Settlers the win, extending their showcase record to 3 - 0 - 0.

 Game 2 and final game of the showcase for the Settlers was against Grey Highlands Hawks which had 2 - 1 - 0 showcase record coming into this game. The Settlers wasted no time in the first period jumping out to a 3 goal lead in the first with 2 goals from Felix Stephen at 08:46 and 05:28 mark respectively. Adam Porter scored the 3rd goal at 03:44 of the first. This score would remain the same for the 2nd and 3rd periods giving the Settlers 3 - 0 win. This win gave the Settlers their 4 win of the showcase. The Smiths Falls Settlers and the Coldwater Ice Wolves were the only teams in the showcase to win all their 4 games.
